Woodbury Veterans Memorial

There is a Veterans Memorial located next to the Woodbury City Hall at 8301 Valley Creek Road. The ground breaking for the memorial was held on October 27, 2007. It was dedicated on May 25, 2009.

The Woodbury Lions Club, American Legion Club 501, VFW Post 9024, and the City of Woodbury constructed the Veterans Memorial in the Rose Garden area near the Radio Drive / Valley Creek Road intersection, just east of City Hall.

The site, which honors the dedicated people who have served in the U.S. armed forces, features 10 flags, one for each branch of the military, along with the city, state and U.S. flag. It also incorporates a 3,000-square-foot plaza featuring pavers engraved with veterans' names. The Veterans Memorial Plaza has space to accommodate up to approximately 2,000 pavers.

Below is a picture of the Veteran's Memorial.
