What:  In honor of Veterans Day the Minnesota History Center is offering free admission for veterans and current service members throughout the weekend.

The 1968 Exhibit is a major traveling exhibit that explores the causes and legacies of the year’s relentless barrage of events. The Vietnam War, protests and assassinations were in the news. Peace signs, love-ins and psychedelic rock were on the scene. From the darkest hours to the incredible highs, the year 1968 comes alive in this extraordinary new exhibit. The Minnesota’s Greatest Generation exhibit celebrates the lives and memories of Minnesotans who came of age during the Great Depression, fought in World War II and led the post-war boom years. Other exhibits include MN150, Open House and Grainland. Spend the day at the History Center, explore the gift store and enjoy lunch at Café Minnesota.
